Sometimes when I'm walking I can smell your cooking. I want to stop and thank you.

We had a really good weekend.

Like every Saturday morning, we went to our neighborhood farmers market

and stopped on the way for our lifeblood, the best coffee in the world at the shortlist (yes, I stole their name – with permission! – thanks Bec and Lauren!).

And, seeing as our dear neighbors won’t be using one of their cars for a bit, we grabbed their keys, leashed up the dog, convinced the house guest and did us some exploring. From Woomoolloomoo to Woollahra, Blackwattle Bay to Bondi, Coogee to Clovelley.

We went out to our favorite sushi place with friends, stocked up on and finished all the gelato, baked tons of fresh bread (forthcoming), went to the movies, and made even more chocolate crunch slices (the house guest is obsessed! I swear!).

The best part? Maybe that awesome graffiti (above) we saw near Bronte Beach. Or maybe this:
